UNITED WE FIGHT.

Corporate Cornerstone is a unique opportunity for community-minded businesses to direct their gifts to pay for the administrative and fundraising overhead of running River Cities United Way. United Way appreciates the support of many corporations and businesses in our community; these companies provided a foundation of support that enables United Way to aid local health, human and youth service programs in meeting the needs of the most vulnerable in our area. Through the Cornerstone Program, United Way hopes to transform the gifts of our benefactor companies into a powerful tool that will make greater levels of individual giving possible.

UNITED WE WIN.

By simply designating the company's donation to pay United Way's expenses, Cornerstone partners allow individual contributors to give without hesitation, satisfied that their money is helping the most people in need. Individuals want to make a solid investment in their community and they want that investment handled carefully and with maximum benefits. It is United Way's goal to be able to reassure individual donors that 100% of their donations go directly to programs that benefit the communities served.

What if Corporate Cornerstone contributions exceed the administrative overhead? The excess donations would be transferred to the Community Care Fund. This fund ensures the most powerful contribution possible by touching the most lives and assists in making a positive impact on building a stronger and safer community.
