EDUCATION
Increase access to resources for students to graduate on time
Boys & Girls Club of Kingman   $9 helps provide scholarships to 56% of the members at Boys & Girls Club Kingman
K-12 Foundation for LHUSD #1 $32 helps provide one student with the fees to particpate in classrooms/summer school
Kingman Aid to Abused People 21¢ helps provide education for one person of sexual and domestic violence
NAU Civic Service Institute $17 helps provide one student with a mentor through the Foster Grandparent program
Social Service Interagency Council   $5 helps provide one participant an education class on parenting

HEALTH
Increase the number of people connected to health services
Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center $16 helps provide one baby with formula for a week

Golden Shores Senior Nutrition 41¢ helps provide one homebound or congregate participate 60+ with a meal
Havasu Community Health Foundation $10 helps provide one participant with low-cost labs and screenings
Kingman Aid to Abused People $73 helps provide one victim of sexual assault with the necessary care they need
Kingman Area Food Bank   $1 helps provide groceries so a recipient can prepare four meals                              
Lake Havasu Meals on Wheels, Inc. 36¢ helps provide one hot meal for a homebound individual per day
NAU Civic Service Institute $67 helps provide one homebound senior with a weekly/bi-weekly companion
New Horizons   $3 helps provide one bowling pass for a person with a disability
Social Service Interagency Council   $1 helps provide one food box to a local family
Special Olympics Arizona $10 helps provide health education curriculum and incentives to students Pre K-12
St. Vincent De Paul Society Needles 50¢ helps provide clients with food, gas, pharmacy/medical, utility and travel assistance
WestCare Arizona I, Inc. 86¢ helps provide one victim of domestic violence with assistance 

FINANCIAL STABILITY
Residents have access to basic needs
Arizona Youth Partnership $25 helps provide basic needs for a homeless youth with food, hygiene and resources
Bullhead City Meals on Wheels   $4 helps provide one hot meal for a homebound individual per day
Community Legal Services, Inc.   $2 helps provide one person with legal aid and advice
Cornerstone Mission Project  $16 helps provide one homeless person with shelter and care

 Kingman Aid to Abused People  $37 helps provide shelter and care for victims of domestic violence
 Parker Senior Center Committee    5¢ helps provide a senior one congregate or home delivered meal
 St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance    1¢ helps provide one pound of food to a local food bank
The Salvation Army of Kingman $112 helps provide one household with utility assistance

22,685 people were helped saving $2.1M on prescription medication, an average of 41%.


KidsB-H-Logo

13 K-12 students received dental referrals, 6 (47%) of which required additional work. The program saved those families an average of $109.79 per claim. 3 students received medical or vision care at an average cost of $83.33.


LaPazMohaveOHC-MQ

48 volunteers working 192 hours delivered oral health education and smile kits to 1,272 Kindergarteners, in 53 classrooms, at 20 schools, in 8 communities across 2 counties.

94 attendees completed the 4-hour workshop covering budgeting and savings. 100% of attendees surveyed after 6-months, reported an improved financial situation.


VITA-Logo

20 volunteers working 140 hours assisted in preparing and submitting 263 tax returns at 5 sites, saving 2 communities $65,750 in filing fees.
